Enterprise begins Fire Hydrant Testing

January 25, 2013- The City of Enterprise Fire Department has begun annual fire hydrant testing.

Testing started inside the circle and will move outward. Residents should understand that the city is not wasting water, but that this testing is vital to the maintenance and upkeep of the city fire department, and helps ensure citizens safety in the event of an emergency.

Testing should take approximately 8 weeks.

If residents should notice a discoloration of their water, they should not be alarmed, but should allow a water faucet to run until it clears up.

If you have any questions, please call the Water Department at (334) 348-2652.
