Enterprise Street Flooding

A Don Circle resident tried to save what he can from the home as water would slowly rise from a surrounding creek. Nearly double-digit amounts of precipitation over a few hours resulted in drainage ditches becoming raging rivers. Haywood Goode lives off of Dixie Drive and he watched water come dangerously close to his house.
A creek breached its banks off Glover Avenue causing waters to rush across the normally heavily traveled roadway. Crews stayed busy trying to keep motorists and pedestrians from the affected areas. It wouldn't take much for a vehicle or individual to be caught in its turbulent path. Emergency responders provided assistance for several persons unable to leave their homes due to the "high water". Everyone including neighbors helped out:
