Enterprise City Schools and Enterprise State Community College are at odds over money. It concerns use of the college campus by the high school after the March, 2007 killer tornado claimed eight student lives.
The ESCC campus served as the high school from March 2007 to may 2010. Although no number has been made public, news four has learned through reliable sources ESCC is looking for more than a half million dollars.
In a prepared statement, ESCC President Dr. Nancy Chandler says "the college has been working with Enterprise City School officials and other officials across the state, Alabama EMA and FEMA, to address the needs of the college as the result of housing the high school for three years."
