Enterprise Chamber of Commerce Ray of Hope Award

Coffee County native Lillie Ward began her teaching career at segregated Carroll Street Elementary School in Enterprise during the 1950's.
Today, the Enterprise Chamber of Commerce presented her with its "Ray of Hope" award. At 90 years-old, Mrs. Ward has put in more than five hundred hours of volunteer work at Medical Center Enterprise. She also volunteers time with pre-school children in the community…
