ELBA GENERAL HAS BEEN A FIXTURE IN HEALTH CARE FOR MORE THAN SIXTY-YEARS.
ITS INTERIM CEO SAYS THE FACILITY HAS STRUGGLED TO MAINTAIN ITS PATIENT BASE AND HAS BEEN LOSING MONEY.
CEO, MIKE DOOLEY, SAYS THE EMERGENCY ROOM WILL CLOSE THIS THURSDAY..., AND THE HOSPITAL WILL SHUT ITS DOORS AS OF FIVE O'CLOCK NEXT MONDAY AFTERNOON.
