Elba Food Drive

ELBA, AL - A two-day food drive is underway to feed the hungry in western Coffee County.

For the second consecutive year, Elba churches have joined forces to collect nonperishable items. Cash donations are also being accepted to purchase food for the needy.

The demand for help continues to rise.

"We are getting more and more folks in need every day," said Ray Goodson with Elba Church of Christ. "We get a lot of food from Dothan, and we buy a lot of stuff."

A food bank van will be accepting canned goods and cash donations at 4:00 p.m. Saturday during Elba's annual Christmas parade.
