Early County residents wanting to vote early for the upcoming Georgia primary are facing some deadlines.
Advance voting for the May 20th election began early this week on Monday. Voters must cast ballots in person and provide photo identification. Election workers say this is a great opportunity for voters to avoid long lines. Some voters have already taken advantage of it.
"You know we've got it set up so they just come right in and sign up, vote ad head right on out.
Takes them five minutes," said Claire Moseley, the Early County Chief Registrar.
Registered voters have until May 16th to cast early ballots.
