A line of showers and storms moved through parts of Southeast Alabama, Southwest Georgia and parts of Florida early Sunday morning.
A line of storms that downed trees and knocked out power to thousands in north Alabama did weaken some as it moved into parts of the Wiregrass, but still produced heavy rain and some lightning as it reached communities like Troy between 2 and 3am.
The Troy Municipal Airport received just over a quarter of an inch of rain.
