Early County Wish Tree Requires Community Support

By  |

A Georgia group gears up to spread some holiday cheer, but they need your help.

Early County Family Connections is kicking off their annual “Wish Tree.”
This year they have more than 100 names on the tree.
They hope the community will make sure all of the kids get something beneath their tree for the holidays.
Gwen Houston says this year they have more older children, so they'll need extra help for the bigger gifts like bikes.

"So many children are not responsible for the fact that their families can't find jobs or they have to use their money for food versus a toy. So the community comes together and tries to make sure the children have a nice Christmas," Houston said.
