EMA Update

The Wiregrass and the rest of Alabama is starting to thaw out.

The Alabama Emergency Management Agency says it was the worst winter storm in the state in 20 years.

The agency reported 5-casualties as a result of the storm, 54 storm related injuries were reported, and more than a thousand state employees including the Alabama National Guard are responding.

Warming stations remain open in 8 counties and more than 2000 Alabamians are still without power.
