An old, vacant downtown building will soon be occupied.
Friday the Dothan Downtown Redevelopment Authority accepted a contract to sell the building located at 135 North Foster St.
The business, "By His Design Interiors" purchased the building.
"By His Design Interiors" is already located next to the building and will soon move in to their new location.
"What's great is that this is a building on a key part of foster street that hasn't had life in it for decades. We came in and changed the facade to make it look better but the reality is it hasn't been open to the public it hasn't been a functional building," said DDRA Executive Director Jansen Tidmore.
The DDRA renovated the building in 2009.
