Dothan's Annual 9/11 Parade on Wednesday

This week is the anniversary of the September 11th terror attacks.

With it comes a reminder to show appreciation to first responders.

The annual 9/11 Parade will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday.

Law enforcement, firefighters, ambulance drivers and 911 communicators will come together for the parade.

The Mayor and other government officials will be there to show their support.

"For the citizens getting involved, it would really mean a lot to these guys. Come out, say thank you show up. If your face shows up they know you appreciate it and that's what we want," Patriot Guard District Ride Captain Jimmy Shaver said.

The parade will leave the old Porter Square building at 9:00 a.m. and continue to the Veterans Memorial on Highway 84 East for a ceremony.
