Dothan Police Encourage Community Watch Involvement

(Dothan, AL)--On Monday, the Dothan Police Department held a community watch meeting in hopes more people would get involved.

"The more people we have on our team, the better," Major Steve Parrish said. "If we can educate people, we can also get their feedback, and in turn, their help," he said.

The department will be holding community watch quarterly meetings for each district in Dothan. Since 2002, neighborhood watch members have been trained to help assist in natural disasters and emergency situations.
