DOTHAN, AL - On April 9, 2013 at approximately 2:30 a.m. the Dothan Police Department responded to the area of Frankfort Drive after an alert citizen noticed an unknown subject entering a neighbor’s automobile. A description of the subject was given as a responding officer initiated a traffic stop of a vehicle leaving the area. The driver of that vehicle was identified as Rashawn Taylor and confirmed to be the subject seen entering the neighbor’s vehicle. Items found in Taylor’s possession were confirmed to have been taken from the neighbor’s vehicle as well as other vehicles in the area. Taylor was arrested and charged with Unlawful Breaking and Entering a Motor Vehicle, bringing this case to a close.
• Rashawn Benard Taylor, black male, 18 years of age, of Gregory Avenue was arrested and charged with four counts of Unlawful Breaking and Entering a Motor Vehicle, with bonds totaling $60,000. All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
