Parents are not the only ones trying to snag back-to-school deals.
Teachers say shopping for the classroom can be pricey.
New teachers say they spend at least $200 each year prepping for their students.
They say its for items like paper towels, hand sanitizer and classroom decorations.
But for some who have been teaching for a while, they can spend much less.
"Since this is my 4th year as a classroom teacher I accumulated some things over time and when you are teaching for over a year when you see some things and think year I can use that its an ongoing process it never starts or stops," said Kaleena Craddock, teacher at Grandview Elementary School.
Teachers say the items parents send their children to school with helps cut down on their spending.
