Dothan Sales & Lodging Tax Collections Up for January

DOTHAN, AL - Sales tax figures for the city of Dothan are in for the month of January.

The city collected $4.3 million in sales taxes. That's up 2-and-a-half percent from December.

For the year, the city has collected a little more than 2-percent more sales taxes than the last fiscal year.

Lodging taxes increased a little more than a percent for January. But for the year, lodging tax collections are down more than 7-percent.
