On July 27 at approximately 2 a.m., the Dothan Police Department responded to the Kangaroo store located at 4196 Ross Clark Circle in reference to an armed robbery.

Investigators say a lone subject, described as being a black male wearing a long white t-shirt, blue jeans and a knitted hat with something covering a portion of his face, entered the business with a rifle and demanded the employee give him all the money in the register. The employee complied and the suspect left the building running south on Headland Avenue.

Approximately 30-minutes later, Dothan Police communications received a second call of an armed robbery which occurred at 735 Ross Clark Circle.

A review of the stores surveillance video shows a black male, wearing the same clothing and in possession of the same rifle, enter the business and demand the employee give him the money in the register. The suspect was last seen running south towards Burdeshaw Street.
