You wouldn't want a degree from a college that isn't accredited, right?
The Dothan Police Department feels the same way, so they've been on a mission since 2008 to change their status. Until now, the department wasn't accredited.
Officers hope this will set a higher standard for the department, give the public more confidence in them and even bring more business into the circle city.
