DOTHAN, AL - On January 24, 2013 the Dothan Police Department responded 1486 West Main Street in reference to an armed robbery at 7:51 p.m. Upon arrival, the clerk told police she was taking the garbage out to the dumpster, when a black male wearing all black with a bandana covering his face came out of the bushes near the dumpster. The suspect was armed with a handgun and told her to go back into the store. The clerk complied and said once inside the store the suspect demanded she place cash into a plastic bag. The suspect then fled from the business and was last seen running towards Pariton Avenue.
