DOTHAN, AL - On October 5, 2012 at 9:32 p.m. the Dothan Police Department responded to an armed robbery in progress at the BP Food Mart located at 2154 Denton Road. Upon arrival, police learned the suspect entered the store armed with a handgun and demanded cash. The cashier gave the suspect the cash from the register after which the suspect exited the store and fled on foot northbound on Denton Road.
The suspect was described as a black male approximately 20-25 years of age, 5'07 tall weighing 150 pounds. He was further described as wearing blue jeans, a grey hooded sweater and a blue bandana on his face. Police are asking anyone with information about the case or identity of the suspect to call the Dothan Police Department or CrimeStoppers 334-793-7000.
