Dothan PD Investigate Firearm Assault Near Ussery Homes

DOTHAN, AL - On February 4, 2013 the Dothan Police Department responded to a firearm assault that occurred in the vicinity of Ussery Homes. The victim, an adult male was taken to a local hospital where he was treated for non-life threatening gun shot wound to his leg. The victim said while in the vicinity of Ussery Homes he was shot by an unknown suspect while sitting in a parked vehicle. The victim described the shooter as a black male in all black clothing with a white bandana over his face and stated that the suspect was approximately five foot nine inches tall and weighed approximately one hundred and fifty pounds. Police are asking anyone with information about the case or identity of the suspects to call the Dothan Police Department or CrimeStoppers 334-793-7000.
