Dothan Man Charged with Receiving Stolen Guns

The Dothan Police Department arrested an 18-year-old man after he allegedly received several stolen guns.

Kendrick Corbitt, of Naomi Drive, faces a second degree charge of receiving stolen property. According to police, on April 18 Corbitt took several guns from the victims home by a relative without permission. The relative, who is a juvenile, was confronted about the theft and admitted to taking the items, then selling them to Kendrick Corbitt.

The property was located at the residence of Corbitt’s relatives and he has now been charged with second degree receiving stolen property.

Corbitt’s bond amount has been set at $50,000.
