A Monday house fire has been determined arson, said the Dothan Police and Fire Department.
According to a press release from the department, on April 15 the Dothan Communications Center received a 9-11 call reporting a fire at a Montana Street home. The fire was extinguished and an investigation began in order to determine the cause of the fire.
During the investigation, the fire was determined to be set purposefully and it was turned over to the Dothan Arson Task force.
Stanley Latraze Grubbs, 30, of Montana Street, was arrested and charged with second degree arson. His bail has been set for $30,000.
All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
