In observance of the Veteran’s Day holiday, the City of Dothan offices will be closed on Monday, November 12, 2012.
The regularly scheduled pick-up for garbage (automated green cart) and recycling collection for Monday residents will be picked up on Wednesday, November 14, 2012.
Also on Monday, there will be no trash pick-up (leaves, limbs, junk, etc.) and the City Landfill will be closed. The landfill will re-open on Tuesday, November 13, 2012.
Normal collections will resume after the Veteran’s Day holiday.

If you have any questions, the Environmental Services Division can be contacted during business hours at 615-3820 on Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Houston County offices will be closed on Monday, November 12, 2012 in observance of Veteran's Day with the exception of the Sanitation Department.
Houston County Sanitation crews will be working on that day.
There will be no change in the normal scheduled garbage pickup for that week.
