DOTHAN, AL - Dothan Diagnostic Imaging was evacuated Monday morning after employees began to feel sick.
The employees called the Dothan Fire Department to say they smelled a chemical odor.
When firefighters arrived they evacuated the business and ran tests. They found out the carbon dioxide levels were higher than normal.
All of the equipment in the business was shut off and the building was aired out.
"There was no one injured," said Battalion Chief Thomas Grooms. "People said they were a little dizzy and said they were having a headache, so its always good to err on the side of caution."
Firefighters let employees back in once they found the source of the odor and the carbon dioxide levels returned to normal.
