Dothan City Schools are an open book when it comes to the future of its students.
On Tuesday, May 13 the first draft of the district's five year strategic plan was unveiled to the public so that community members can express their concerns.
The plan was complied by 20 people with all types of professional backgrounds, allowing the district to put together a well rounded plan with everyone in mind.
The draft outlined everything from teacher pay to technology and infrastructure to building community pride, but nothing is set in stone yet.
Tuesday's meeting was only the first of many. The public is invited to attend and comment on the plan at any of the other draft meetings scheduled for this week.
