Dothan BP Robbed Christmas Day

On December 25, 2013 at approximately 12:55 pm, the Dothan Police Department responded to the BP Food Market located at 2154 Denton Road in reference to an armed robbery.

Upon arrival, officers were advised a black male, wearing a baseball cap and black bandana across his face, entered the convenience store and pointed a handgun at the clerk, before demanding they give him the money in the cash register. After complying with that demand, the suspect fled the store prior to the officer’s arrival.

The suspect is described as being a black male, approximately 6 feet tall, wearing a baggy white t-shirt and blue jeans. The suspect was in possession of an unknown handgun and was last seen running northeast toward Summerwood Apartments with an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency.

Police are asking anyone with information regarding this incident to call the Dothan Police Department at 334-615-3000.
