2 year old Payton Myrick runs on batteries... that never run out of power.
Always nearby, his trusty sidekick and dog, Ashepoo.
Wednesday afternoon, both were running full speed at his grandfathers home in Clover.
By the time Peyton's parents arrived, an intense search was already underway.
As hundreds of volunteers and police scoured the area looking for the little boy, the only solace to the terrified family...
Ashepoo was missing too.
