Dense Fog Advisory for the Wiregrass until 9am Today

Dense fog could impact portions of the wiregrass throughout the early morning and mid-morning hours of Thursday.

Tuesday's heavy rains left the ground very saturated across the area. This combined with a light breeze and clearing skies, forecasters say, is ideal for the formation of dense fog.

Thus, the National Weather Service in Tallahassee has issued a Dense Fog Advisory for much of the area, in effect until 9am Central Time.

This includes the cities of Enterprise, Ozark, Fort Rucker, Headland, Geneva, and Dothan, Webb, Rehobeth and many surrounding communities. The county-by-county breakdown includes Coffee, Dale, Henry, Geneva, and Houston counties.

The fog could reduce visibilities in the area to as little as a quarter-mile or less.
