CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) -- Democrats are gathering in Charlotte, N.C., to nominate President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden for second terms.
Delegates and party officials also hope to counter last week's Republican National Convention.
They'll hear from first lady Michelle Obama tomorrow, former President Bill Clinton on Wednesday and the president on Thursday.
