Big improvements are on the way for one of the oldest airports' in Northwest, Florida.
This week, construction will start on an additional ten t-hangers at the DeFuniak Springs Municipal airport.
City officials expect the expansion to increase private flying along with fuel sales.
In addition, the federal aviation administration will help fund the expansion of the runway to at least five-thousand feet.
That will better accommodate larger planes.
