Walton County foster parents are being assisted by their church family. It's to raise needed monies to expand their house.
The First United Methodist Church of DeFuniak Springs held a yard sale for the "Schack Pack" foster family. Michelle Schack says the additional space is essential since the family has four children of their own along with two foster kids. Now, children are sleeping in just about every room of the DeFuniak Springs home.
