A young girl is reunited with her mother after two and a half years.
Ozark native Noelle Hunter was able to bring her daughter, Muna, home.
Muna was kidnapped by Hunter's ex husband and taken to Mail, Africa in 2011.
Hunter held protests at the embassy and worked with state and federal officials.
Earlier this month, Hunter flew to Africa to pick up her daughter.
"Support has come from my hometown and we will never forget that and I just want to take this opportunity to thank everyone in Dothan and Ozark and everyone in the Wiregrass to love us and support us for so long and prayer works."
Hunter and Muna live in Kentucky now.
Muna starts second grade in the fall.
