DALEVILLE, AL- Pretty soon kids around the Wiregrass will be out on summer break.
The Daleville Public Library is inviting kids to “dig into reading” for their free summer program.
Every summer they have the program for younger kids, but this year they are trying to expand it to have a separate program for teenagers.
Library Director Kathryn Brown said, “We just want to do something to get them off the streets and not be so bored and get into trouble. Like some teens do.”
Right now here are the definite dates for boys and girls 3-11 years old.
June 12, 19, 26
July 10, 17, 24
10-11 a.m. for 3-6 year olds
1:30-2:30 p.m. for 7 to 11 year olds.
