Daleville Department of Public Safety Reserve Officer Program Hosts 2014 Alabama Police Week Shooting

Shooting competitors across the area got in on some friendly competition at the Tri-State Gun Club today. The Daleville Department of Public Safety Reserve Officer Program hosted the 2014 Alabama Police Week shooting.

Proceeds from Saturday's event benefit the organization, "Concerns of Police Survivors."

Promoting Positive relationships between the police department and the community was one of the goals of the event.

"Its not always a regular thing, they can come out here and shoot ten-twelve different scenerios-reality based scenerios that put themselves in situations that they may find themselves in on the street.."

"Concerns of Police Survivors" is a charity that helps families of police officers killed in the line of police officers killed in the line of duty.
