OZARK-- Employees and management at the Dale Medical Center had an exceptionally great day on Wednesday. During a special ceremony at the center, they were awarded with the the Studer Group's Healthcare organization of the month for March 2014.
This national award goes to Healthcare Organizations that show marked improvements in employee workplace experience, patient satisfaction, and giving back to their communities.
After spending the past year and a half renovating their focus, their hard work is paying off.
"We’ve always known we had a great organization," said Vernon Johnson of the Dale Medical Center. "To actually get recognized for the good things that go on in our organization, it's a very humbling and gratifying feeling."
Johnson said this is only the beginning for what the center hopes to achieve.
Dale Medical Center is also a leader in the state for prevention of hospital acquired infections.
