DHS ROTC Receives 10K

The Dothan High School ROTC program is celebrating.

The program has received a $10,000 endowment to support their local shooting team.

This endowment will generate about $500 every year. The team can use the funds for travel, uniforms, or training equipment.

Dothan High's ROTC program has 158 cadets who will see the benefit of this money.

"We can commit to things. Not only our wiregrass shooting, but we might be able to venture out a little bit further now if we get our team developed. We want to see this program continue to grow, and see the raffle team continue to grow and compete at the next level," ROTC Sergeant Major Tracy Adams.

This is a partnership between the Midway USA Foundation and Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.
