The Covington county EMA office coordinated preparedness into a one-stop shop for all-hazards.
There were speakers and demonstrations on a variety of emergency topics.
The workshop covered both man-made and natural disasters.
National weather service meteorologists were on hand to answer questions concerning tornados and hurricanes.
Experts say being prepared can save lives.
