Community Members Help "Clean Up" Dothan

Dothan community members clean up streets in the Wiregrass with trash bags in hand.

Today was the second installment of "Clean-Up The Community", an event sponsored by District 1 Commissioner Kevin Dorsey. Volunteers marched down Lake Street, picking up everything in sight.
Most of the helpers were members of the Northview football team.

"At the end of the day, a lot of these kids live here. This is our community so you know we want to be able to give back whenever we can," said LaBrian Stewart, the Athletic Director and Head Football Coach at Northview.

At the end of the walk, Commissioner Dorsey provided all volunteers with free barbeque. Dorsey says, he is planning another community clean-up for next month.
