Cole Brothers Circus Comes to Dothan

The Cole Brothers brought families under the big top for a little circus magic Wednesday evening. Families poured into the tent for a one-of-a kind, three-ring circus experience. It's a tradition that is 129 years in the making. Trapeze swingers, high-wire daredevils, the human cannonball: they are quintessential acts in any circus.

They dazzled their Dothan audience at the Houston County Farm Center. During intermission, kids climbed on top of elephants for a ride on the wild side. The Cole Brothers circus tours from Florida to Maine every year. When the show makes it's stop in Dothan, there's something in the center of the ring for everyone.

The show treated kids of all ages to an aerial ballet, a family of clowns, and the motorcycle chamber of danger. The circus bills itself as the 'largest under the big top.' For those who missed out Wednesday evening, the ringmaster will crack the whip again Thursday at 4:30 and 7:30. Tickets are free for children 12 and
