A coffee county man is charged with killing a woman during a car accident. Today he appeared in court.
Sterling Garrett’s lawyers want several items not allowed into evidence.
The 25-year-old was allegedly driving under the influence when he crashed into another car in 2010.
The wreck occurred on highway 167 near the coffee-pike county line.
Jerelene Clark was in that other car and died.
Circuit Judge Jeff Kelley will later rule on the defense's requests.
