Coffee County's Pea River

Officials in Coffee County are also preparing for this weekend's rain.
Emergency Management Director Larry Walker has been in contact with the National Weather Service.
Walker says fortunately the Pea River is well below flood stage at the Elba Bridge on Highway 84.
He says this February could turn out to be the wettest on record.
Walker says while he doesn't fear the river, he’s concerned about flash street flooding.
