Construction of the Coffee County tire processing center is just weeks from completion.
It'll take in tires from throughout Alabama and surrounding southeastern states. They will no longer be buried at an approved site. The plan is to shred them and turn them into such things as playground mats. The processing center is located across from the Coffee County's Landfill…
