The Coffee County Commission's latest purchase is causing a bit of a stink.
Today, commissioners voted to borrow 6-million dollars to buy the Brundidge landfill.
It declared bankruptcy earlier this year.
Right now it's not clear what the county's going to do with the facility.
There's already a regional landfill in Victoria.
State Representative Barry Moore owns a trash hauling business and says he opposes the purchase.
