Alabama's back to school tax "holiday" is expected to be a "godsend" for small businesses across much of the wiregrass.
Elba city school teacher Millie McCullough opened a gift boutique and art studio on the downtown square earlier this summer. Beginning midnight Friday through Sunday, sales taxes will be "waived" with dollar amount limitations on clothing, school supplies and computers. Millie is hoping for a big, profitable weekend…
