The City of Dothan has responded to a complaint filed by a former Dothan Police Officer.
The City Attorney's office filed their answer to former Dothan Police Corp. Raemonica Carney's complaint on Monday, July 14. In response to the complaint the office denies that Carney is entitled to any relief.
Both parties are now allowed to proceed through the discovery process.
Corp. Raemonica Carney filed a complaint with the city in June. She claimed she was harassed and discriminated against while working for the Police Department.
The city originally had until June 30 to answer the complaint, but asked for an extension.
