The Church at the Crossing in Dothan started a fundraiser to raise money for supplies for the Wiregrass Chapter of the American Red Cross.
Church members would donate $10 and then challenge someone to jump into cold water.
So far, the church has raised $530.
"We just believe that the church part of our job is and our calling is to connect with that's happening in the community and here at the Crossing if someone is doing something good lets joins teams with them," said Stacy Turney, lead pastor.
The church has used the money to make care packages for the Red Cross to give to people who have lost their home to fire.
