Chinese Culture Course

Troy University is welcoming Chinese businesses to the Wiregrass by teaching residents the language and the culture of China. The Chinese Culture and Language course was taught at the Troy-Dothan campus.

"Our world today has gotten a lot smaller. It's a global world that we're living in and a global market, and through computers and other technology we're all becoming one big family and I think it's time we learn about other people's cultures," Suzanne Geiger, an attendee said.

The course began on January 21 and lasted six weeks, concluding on Thursday. It was presented by the Confucius Institute at Troy-University. It was designed to help local companies look into conducting business with China.
