Charges Filed in Falcon Drive Burglary

DOTHAN, AL - On May 16, 2013 the Dothan Police Department responded to the 500 block of Falcon Drive in reference to a residential burglary in progress. Upon arrival, officers were advised that two black males were seen exiting the victim's home in possession of multiple electronic items, then entering a white sports utility vehicle occupied by a third black male and leaving the area. That information was broadcasted to the other officer responding when a vehicle matching the suspect description was seen backed into a wood line at the intersection of South Range Street and Morris Street. The officers made contact with the driver and noticed several electronic items behind the vehicle, pushed into the bushes. The suspect, who has now been identified at Jashun Lloyd was detained as officers gathered the property. Investigators say the items recovered have now been identified as property taken from the victim during the burglary and Jashun Lloyd has now been charged with the offense.

Police are asking anyone with information about the case or identity of the other suspects involved to call the Dothan Police Department or CrimeStoppers 334-793-7000.

· Jashun Antonio Lloyd, black male, 18 years of age, of Wilson Street was arrested and charged with one count of third degree Burglary. Lloyd's bond amount has been set at $15,000. All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
