ATLANTA (Duluth, Ga.) - Today, Charles Sepich, director, VA Southeast Network, announced leadership changes at the Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System, a two-division facility with campuses in Montgomery and Tuskegee, Ala.
Robin Jackson, Ph.D., has been named acting medical center director, and Srinivas Ginjupalli, M.D., as the acting chief of staff, effective August 22. Dr. Jackson most recently served at the VA Southeast Network in Duluth, Ga., where he is the deputy network director. Dr. Ginjupalli is already located at CAVHCS, where he is the deputy chief of staff.
"This action signals Alabama Veterans that they can be confident in the quality of their VA health care," said Sepich. "We are taking a closer look at facility operations, and will do everything possible to maintain Veterans' trust."
Sepich has directed a thorough assessment of administrative and clinical practices within the system. Director James Talton and chief of staff Dr. Cliff Robinson have been placed on administrative leave to allow for a thorough and unbiased process.
